POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMS

M.Sc (by research)
Ph.D

Students can choose to either enroll in research based or coursework based programs.

For research based programs, the minimum requirement for entry to the M.Sc. program is a B.Sc. Honours degree or a B.Sc. with a CGPA of 3.0 and above. For the Ph.D. program, a minimum qualification of Masters of Science degree is required.

The medium of instruction for all postgraduate programs (research and coursework) is English. International students are required to attend and pass a basic course in Bahasa Melayu before their degree can be conferred. If they intend to write their dissertation/thesis in English they must posses at least band 5 IELTS or a score of 550 TOEFL (for those who obtained their Bachelor’s degree from a university in which the medium of instruction is other than English).
